The 5 Most Dominant MMA World Champions

Jon Jones
The dominance Jones possesses in MMA Training T Shirt cannot be compare to anyone else. When compare with the other dominant champions, they do not even come close. By knocking out Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Jones became the youngest Ultimate Fighting Championship champion ever. Since then, he’s never lost it.
There have been numerous controversies that have led Jones to lose the belt, but no one has been able to hand him a legitimate loss. When his opponents are unable to keep up with Jones’ skills, the intensity of his desire to win typically gets him through any adversity he encounters inside the cage.
Anderson Silva
He was arguably the most inspiring fighter in the history of MMA. His cerebral approach to fighting was not common among fighters in his division when he first start out. Since he wasn’t the most muscular person on the planet, inexperienced eyes couldn’t help but notice some of his weird training drills. When Silva entered the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he came into it as the Cage Rage middleweight champion. After he unified the two belts, he went on to successfully defend the middleweight belt ten times.
Khabib Nurmagomedov
Another name that always comes up when discussing the most dominant fighters in MMA history is Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib is arguably the most dominant grappler in MMA history. He is virtually impossible to stop when he gets his opponents on the ground with his takedowns and heavy shots. Having successfully defend the lightweight title three times, Khabib retire as the undefeat and undisput lightweight champion.
Georges St. Pierre
As a result of defeating Matt Hughes, Georges St. Pierre went on to become the most dominant champion in the history of the UFC’s welterweight champion (at the time), and later on became the most dominant champion in welterweight history. As GSP dominat most of his challengers during his reign, there were virtually no controversial decisions made during his reign.
Among the many things that set GSP apart from other UFC champions was his ability to overcome obstacles that would have stifled the careers of other MMA athletes. However, he came back to avenge the defeat and reclaim the title, after falling short against Hughes for the title. After getting knock out during his first title defense, he came back to avenge the loss and win back the title.
The middleweight champion then defend the belt nine times before retiring from MMA training shorts. He came back four years later in 2017 to challenge Michael Bisping for the middleweight belt, which he won, and went on to retire as the middleweight champion.
Demetrious Johnson
There is no doubt that Johnson is the longest-reigning champion in the history of the UFC. He has successfully defend his title no fewer than 11 times, defeating big names like Henry Cejudo, Joseph Benavidez, and John Dodson during his reign.
As a result, Johnson’s reign end with him losing a controversial decision to Henry Cejudo during their rematch. As a result of Johnson’s loss, he was trad to ONE Championship as part of a rare cross-promotional trade that sent Johnson to Asia as the UFC acquired Ben Askren.
